Tom Bowden

Tom Bowden has a strong and extensive work experience in the packaging industry. Tom has held various leadership positions in different companies throughout their career.

Tom recently became the Chief Executive Officer at LLFlex in 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Operating Officer at Earthfirst® Biopolymer Films by PSI from 2019 to 2022.

Tom also held the position of Vice President of Manufacturing at Anchor Packaging from 2016 to 2019. Before that, they served as the President and General Manager at ProAmpac from 2015 to 2016.

Their previous roles include Executive Vice President of Operations at Ampac Packaging from 2013 to 2015, and Executive Vice President of Operations at Berry Plastics Corporation from 2009 to 2013.

Tom has also worked at Pliant Corporation as the Senior VP of Operations from 2005 to 2009, and as a Plant Manager from 1999 to 2005. Tom started their career at Sonoco Flexible Packaging as a Production Manager from 1996 to 1999, and at Packaging Industries as a Production Manager from 1992 to 1996.

Prior to that, Tom worked as a Pilot Plant Manager at James River Corporation from 1989 to 1992. Throughout their career, they have gained extensive experience in various aspects of the packaging industry, including operations, manufacturing, and leadership.

Tom Bowden earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Chemical Engineering from Cornell University, which they completed between 1981 and 1985. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications from LinkedIn in various fields, including Coaching and Developing Employees and Lean Inventory Management in February 2019, Building Accountability Into Your Culture in November 2016, Critical Thinking in October 2016, and Lean Six Sigma Fundamentals in October 2016.
