Brian Dow

Brian Dow is currently the Chief Executive of Mental Health UK and serves on the NHS Assembly. With a background in communications, Brian held roles such as Deputy Director of Communications at The Children's Food Trust and Director of Communications at the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health. They have also worked as Head of Media at Shelter UK and Joint Head of Campaigns at RNID. Additionally, Brian has experience in radio journalism from positions at Northsound Radio and Radio Forth, and has contributed to various BBC projects. Currently, they are a member of the ESG Committee at Lloyd's and have been with Rethink Mental Illness as Deputy Chief Executive since 2014. Brian is pursuing a degree at The University of Glasgow.
