Luke Knowles

Luke Knowles is currently the Head of Catastrophe Risk Analytics at Lloyd’s of London, where they deliver insights to support market profitability and customer protection. With a background in catastrophe modeling and risk management, they previously served as a Senior Manager at Lloyd's and have worked in various analytical roles across multiple insurance companies, including Qatar Insurance Company and Hiscox. Luke has also held positions in academia, having been a PhD candidate at the University of Cambridge, and is proficient in several programming languages relevant to the field. They have a strong educational foundation, including a Master’s degree in Chemistry from the University of Bristol and an Executive MBA from Quantic School of Business and Technology.
