Mark Rector has extensive experience in both the insurance and performing arts sectors. Currently, as the Americas Business Manager at Lloyd's since July 2005, Mark supports market outreach and manages consumer responses while facilitating the Association of Lloyd's Brokers, where Mark has served as Executive Secretary since January 2015, connecting the Lloyd's market to the Illinois insurance community. Mark's background in the arts includes acting at Cape May Stage and Orlando Shakespeare Theater, as well as writing and editing several historical martial arts manuals. Educated at The University of Kansas, Mark has also co-founded the Chicago Swordplay Guild, which focuses on historical European swordsmanship.
