Michael Ludlow

Michael Ludlow is currently the Head Group Tax at Lloyd's, where they direct strategic tax initiatives and manage global tax affairs to support market growth. With a strong focus on c-suite stakeholder management and extensive expertise in international tax planning, financial planning, and M&A structuring, Michael's leadership has made significant contributions to tax policy lobbying. Previously, they served as the Global Head of Tax at Swiss Re, managing approximately $3 billion in taxes and leading a team of 85-90 professionals. Additionally, Michael has held various strategic roles at Standard Chartered Bank and voluntary positions, including their current tenure on the Board of the European Business Tax Forum, which aims to enhance tax policy through data-driven insights. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in Geography from Loughborough University.
