Simon Tomlinson is a qualified Chartered Tax Adviser and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland (ICAS). They began their career at KPMG in February 2005, specializing in corporation tax in the insurance sector until March 2022, during which they held various roles, including senior manager in the insurance corporate tax department and secondee at Friends Life. Currently, Simon is a senior manager in the Lloyd's of London tax team, focusing on direct tax issues for the Lloyd's market. Simon holds an MMATH degree in Mathematics with Engineering from the University of Nottingham.
