Morgan Herbst began their career in 2016 as a Social Media Marketing Intern at NEXTpittsburgh. In this role, they selected and distributed articles via Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn to increase readership, and managed a social media strategy that resulted in a 5,000% increase in Instagram followers and a 201% increase in traffic on LinkedIn.
In 2017, Morgan took on the role of Marketing Intern at Koi-Fly Creative Productions. During their time there, they constructed a comprehensive content marketing strategy across eight social media platforms to foster brand awareness and assisted in the organization and execution of shoots, managing and aiding the talent and crew behind the scenes.
In 2018, Morgan joined AstraZeneca as a Global Digital Operations Business Operations Analyst. In this role, they worked with Digital Excellence team to plan, create, compile and synthesize website metrics to streamline site efficiency for the respiratory and cardiovascular metabolic therapeutic areas, developed and implemented best practices for email marketing globally, and collaborated with cross-functional teams to update internal company website to reflect recent structural changes.
Since 2019, Morgan has been working at LMD as an Account Manager and Content Specialist. Morgan also serves as an Account Coordinator, where they use their organizational skills and attention to detail to help support several key accounts, including the Environmental Protection Agency and Small Business Administration. Morgan also writes content for web projects, PR campaigns, client social, and scripts. Additionally, they aid in the coordination and execution of LMD’s social media and the LMD blog.
Morgan Herbst completed a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, English Language and Literature from the University of Maryland between 2015 and 2018.
