Raphael Lienau currently serves as the Global Head of R&D at LMT Tool Systems GmbH and has held various roles within the LMT Tools organization since August 2021, including Head of R&D Gear Cutting and ad interim Product Management Gear Cutting. Prior to joining LMT Tools, Lienau worked at Leistungspolymere Jürgen Bock GmbH, implementing CAD/CAM processes, and at LMT Fette Werkzeugtechnik GmbH & Co. KG, where responsibilities included project leadership in product development and development engineering of threading systems. Lienau's educational background includes a Master of Science in Innovations- und Technologiemanagement from Wilhelm Büchner Hochschule and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Technische Hochschule Lübeck, supplemented by an Erasmus semester at Gdańsk University of Technology.
