James Cottingham

James Cottingham is an experienced furniture designer currently serving as the Lead Furniture Designer at Loaf since April 2025. Previously, James held the position of Senior Furniture Designer at Habitat from June 2017 to April 2025, where responsibilities included trend-led concept generation, 3D design development, project management, and international supplier relations. Prior to that, James was a Furniture Designer at Loaf from March 2014 to June 2017, focusing on brand-led concepts, quality assurance, and supplier management. Earlier roles included Design & Development Technician at QFC Ltd and Sales Consultant at Natuzzi, contributing to upholstery design and high-end furniture sales, respectively. James holds a BA Hons in Contemporary Furniture and Related Product Design from Buckinghamshire New University, obtained between 2006 and 2009.
