Scott Hackett

Scott Hackett has extensive experience in the mortgage and finance industry, currently serving as Regional Underwriting Director at loanDepot since June 2016, focusing on Jumbo Underwriting for all regions of the United States. Prior roles include Regional Underwriting Manager and Underwriting Manager, where Scott led national teams and managed complex non-conforming transactions. Previous experience spans various positions in underwriting and loan origination at companies such as Wells Fargo Home Mortgage and BBVA Compass, along with asset management and loan analysis roles in earlier stages of Scott's career, including a managing principal role in SAH Properties, LLC. Scott holds a BS in Finance from Arizona State University and has developed a deep expertise in non-conforming mortgage lending and underwriting processes over the course of a career that began in 1986.
