Dave Royse

Dave Royse is an experienced editor and writer, currently serving as Editor for Policy Pro at LobbyTools, Inc. since April 2020. Previously, Dave worked as a freelance writer, editor, and researcher from June 2013 to April 2020. Notably, Dave authored The Political Almanac of Florida, published in early 2014, while contributing as an editor at Affiliated News Services from 2008 to 2014, where significant editorial leadership helped elevate The News Service of Florida. With a foundational reporting background at The Associated Press from 1995 to 2008 and earlier experience at The Missourian from 1994 to 1995, Dave holds a Master’s degree in Journalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia and a Bachelor’s degree in History from The College of Wooster.
