Jane Anderson

Jane Anderson is an Associate Professor at New York University, specializing in intellectual property law, Indigenous/traditional knowledge rights, Indigenous Data Sovereignty, digital labelling, protocols, specialized agreements, and transformative justice. As the Foundress of Local Contexts since 2010, Jane has contributed significantly to the field. Additionally, Jane served as an Assistant Professor at the University of Massachusetts Amherst from 2010 to 2014 and has held the position of Adjunct Professor of Law at New York University from 2010 to 2024.
