Peter Seitz has a diverse work experience in the banking industry. Peter started their career in 2005 as a Managing Director at Carson Medlin Company. In 2006, they moved on to become a Senior Vice President at First National Bank of the South, where they provided direction and oversight to various divisions. Peter played a key role in recruiting an individual who started one of the largest wholesale mortgage operations in the Carolinas and Virginia. In 2009, Peter joined First Bank as an Executive Vice President, serving as the Director of Enterprise Risk Committee. In this role, they directed and oversaw several important divisions such as enterprise risk, regulatory compliance, audit, loan review, and legal.
Peter Seitz attended the ABA Stonier Graduate School of Banking from 1995 to 1997, where they did not earn a specific degree or study a particular field. Prior to that, they attended the Washington & Lee School of Law from 1984 to 1987, earning a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree with cum laude honors. Peter also completed their undergraduate studies at the University of Virginia from 1980 to 1984, receiving a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in History with distinction.
