Jason Wing

Jason Wing has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. Jason started their career as a Network Engineer at BayRing Communications in 2000 and worked there until 2006. During this time, they gained expertise in implementing fiber networks and worked closely with fiber distributors and equipment vendors.

In 2006, Jason joined Deltacom as a Fiber Technician. Jason was responsible for the maintenance, repair, and provisioning of Central Office and transmission sites. Jason provided technical support and expertise for various equipment and systems.

From 2007 to 2010, Jason worked as an Operations Manager at BayRing Communications. Jason played a crucial role in installing and maintaining Central Office equipment and collocation sites. Jason also developed cost-effective fiber expansions and collaborated with engineers and regulatory bodies.

In 2010, Jason co-founded The Finishing Touch, a home improvements company specializing in exterior projects. Jason successfully managed the business until 2011.

Jason then joined Tilson Technology Management in 2011 as a Senior Consultant. Jason served as the Owner's Project Manager for the MassBroadband 123 project, an extensive fiber optic network. Jason'sresponsibilities included make ready reconciliation, construction management, site assessment, and network involvement.

From 2014 to 2020, Jason worked at Axia NetMedia Corp. as the Field Operations NextGen Networks. Jason played a key role in deploying and selling services over the Axia MassBroadband 123 fiber network across Western Massachusetts.

Currently, Jason is employed at Local Linx as the Director of Operations since January 2020. Jason'srole was later elevated to Vice President of Operations, starting from January 2021.

Jason Wing attended North Shore Community College from 2001 to 2005, where they studied Engineering Science. Prior to that, from 1998 to 2000, they were enrolled at Wentworth Institute of Technology, focusing on Industrial Design. In addition to their college education, Jason Wing also obtained certifications from Adtran, including ATSA/IN Internetworking Associate and ATSA-TA5000 Certified Installer. Jason also earned a 10 Hour Safety Certification from OSHA.
