Joseph Leon is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in media, technology, and digital strategy. Currently serving as Managing Partner at GFL Ventures since April 2020, Joseph oversees angel investments and venture capital focused on emerging media services, as well as growth and M&A advisory and real estate investments. Joseph has held various non-executive director roles at Local Planet, Horizon Media Canada, and All Inclusive Marketing Inc. Additionally, Joseph was the Chair of the Innovation Group at Plus Company, where a $1 billion media portfolio was managed. Prior experience includes leadership positions at Essence and Lloyds TSB, contributing to digital transformation and strategy consulting. Joseph holds a Bachelor's degree in English Literature and Language from King's College London and has studied Economics at Université Paris Nanterre.
