Jake Barton

Jake Barton has a diverse and impressive work experience in the field of media design and interaction design. Jake is the Principal and Founder of Local Projects, a National Design Award-winning firm. Jake has been involved in various notable projects, including the design of the 9/11 Memorial and Museum, the Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum, and the Eisenhower Presidential Memorial. Local Projects has also received recognition for its innovative approach to emotional storytelling. Jake Barton has worked with clients such as SFMOMA, StoryCorps, GE, Johnson & Johnson, and Microsoft, among others. Prior to founding Local Projects, they worked as a 3D Designer and Media Designer at Ralph Appelbaum Associates from 1995 to 2001.

Jake Barton completed their high school education at Phillips Academy at Andover from 1986 to 1990. Jake then pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Performance Studies at Northwestern University from 1990 to 1994. Later, from 2001 to 2003, they attended New York University and obtained a Master's Degree in Interactive Technology.
