Matt Hunter

Matt Hunter has a diverse work experience in various roles and organizations. Matt is currently working as a Content Developer at Local Projects since November 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Creative Director's Assistant at The Self-Portrait Project from February 2019 to November 2021. Matt also served as a Space Manager at Target Margin Theater from October 2020 to July 2021. Additionally, they worked as a Media Fellow at LaPlaca Cohen from May 2020 to September 2020. Before that, they had multiple roles at Target Margin Theater, starting as an Intern and then progressing to Assistant Director, Stage Manager, and Production Crew member from January 2019 to May 2020. In 2018, they worked as an Assistant Director, providing artistic assistance to theater directors and working on various tasks such as stage management, sound design, and production crew. Matt was an Accounts Intern at LaPlaca Cohen from August 2018 to January 2019. Matt also had internships as a Research Intern at Foundation For The Carolinas from October 2016 to May 2018, as a Development Intern at Cue Art Foundation from May 2017 to August 2017, and as an Intern at Elevator Repair Service Theater in June 2017.

Matt Hunter attended Davidson College from 2014 to 2018, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with a focus on Theater. In 2016, they also briefly studied English Literature at the University of Otago.
