Jonas Schärer

Jonas Schneider is an experienced professional in the agri-food sector, currently serving as the PM & Industry Liaison Officer at the Integrative Food and Nutrition Center since October 2024, where responsibilities include identifying EPFL scientific capabilities and promoting industry research synergies. Previously, Jonas held advisory roles at FOOD FOUNDERS Studio, driving the creation of B2B FoodTech companies, and co-founded Agilery, a consulting firm focused on food innovation and supply chain management. Other notable experience includes various positions at Nestlé, where Jonas contributed to production management and continuous improvement initiatives, as well as internships at Syngenta and Firmenich. Academic credentials include a Master’s in Chemical Engineering and a Bachelor’s in Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, both from EPFL.
