Jay Abrams

Director of Culinary

Jay Abrams is a seasoned culinary professional with extensive experience in the food and beverage industry. They served as the Executive Chef at Off the Grid from 2019 to 2021 and held various sous chef positions at notable restaurants, including Trace Restaurant and Brix Restaurant and Gardens. Additionally, from 2015 to 2019, Jay led culinary innovation for the Bi-Rite Family of Businesses and was the Chef De Cuisine at Presidio Social Club from 2012 to 2015. Currently, they are the Director of Culinary at Locale, having taken on this role in 2024, following their position as Culinary Operations Manager at Local Kitchens from 2022 to 2023. Jay earned an Associate's degree in Culinary Arts from Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts-Portland from 2005 to 2006.
