Jeff Engel

Jeff Engel has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Jeff began their career serving in the US Navy as a Naval Special Warfare Officer (SEAL) from 1989 to 1998. Afterward, they joined IBM as a Supply Chain & Distribution Procurement Manager, focusing on process improvement, cost containment, and best value.

In 2000, Jeff moved on to work at Diligent Software Systems as a Regional Account Executive, where they excelled in sales, software technology, complex negotiations, and consulting. During this time, they played a crucial role in revolutionizing contract management and procurement eSourcing.

In 2002, Jeff joined CombineNet as a Regional Sales Manager, contributing to the development and refinement of their go-to-market strategy for advanced eSourcing solutions. Jeff then moved on to SRF Group, where they served as a Principal, specializing in strategic planning, process improvement, project management, and thought leadership.

From 2005 to 2015, Jeff worked at Interactions Marketing, initially joining as Director of Operations and ultimately becoming the Senior Vice President. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing multiple business units across the United States, Asia, South Africa, and Latin America. Jeff'scontributions included driving omni-channel marketing, implementing advanced processes, and achieving significant revenue growth.

In 2015, Jeff became the President & Chief Executive Officer at Snacktops Inc., where they played a pivotal role in bringing one-handed portability to the market. As the company evolved from the ideation phase, Jeff led the development and launch of innovative food and beverage items.

In 2018, Jeff joined BluSEALS as the Managing Director, focusing on "Go To Market" strategies and launching new businesses. Following this, they became the Chief Commercial Officer and later the CEO at Salutec, where they demonstrated exceptional leadership and expertise in driving business growth.

Currently, Jeff Engel serves as the CEO of Location Tech Inc, a position they assumed in October 2020.

Jeff Engel's education history includes a Bachelor's of Science degree from the United States Naval Academy. Jeff also completed the United States Navy SEAL training, specifically Buds Class 184. Additionally, they obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with an emphasis on Supply Chain and Finance from the University of San Diego. Jeff is currently pursuing a degree in Consumer Digital Engagement from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. In terms of certifications, Jeff has obtained the Strategic Selling certification from Miller Heiman Group in June 2013. Jeff has also obtained Conceptual Selling certification and holds certifications in Large Account Management Process (LAMP) and Partners In Leadership's (PIL) Accelerating Cultural Change program, both from Miller Heiman and Partners In Leadership, Inc. respectively.
