Kevin Lee

Kevin Lee has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Kevin is currently a Co-Founder at Location Tech Inc, a position they started in January 2021. Prior to this, Kevin served as a Board Member at The LEAGUE of Amazing Programmers, a non-profit organization dedicated to teaching coding to students in grades 5 through 12. Kevin joined the organization in August 2019.

Kevin also held the role of Software and Deployment Lead at Salutec, a personal security system startup, from January 2020 to August 2020. Before that, they worked at Qualcomm for 15 years, starting as a Staff Engineer/Manager in August 1993 and later becoming the Director of Engineering in December 2003 until June 2018. Additionally, Kevin served as the Software Component Factory Manager at Nokia from December 2002 to November 2003 and as the Director of Engineering at Mohomine from June 2000 to December 2002. Kevin also worked as a Staff Engineer/Manager at Ericcson Inc from July 1999 to May 2000.

Kevin's early career includes being a Member of Technical Staff at The Aerospace Corporation from 1989 to 1993. Overall, their work experience showcases a strong background in engineering, leadership, and involvement in both corporate and non-profit sectors.

Kevin Lee obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Purdue University. Kevin then went on to pursue a Master of Science (MS) degree in the same field of study at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
