Adam Koontz is currently the Chief Engineer at Lockheed Martin Space, specializing in lightweight composite structure design, mechanical integration, and spacecraft layout design. Adam previously worked as a Staff Mechanical Engineer at Lockheed Martin from 2009 to 2021 and held internships at the US Department of Defense and Lutron Electronics in 2007 and 2008, respectively. Adam earned a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and two Master's degrees in Systems Engineering from Penn State University.
