Austin Darling

Austin Darling is a seasoned mechanical engineer with significant experience in diverse engineering roles, including positions at Lockheed Martin as a Senior Mechanical Engineer and General Dynamics Electric Boat as a Mechanical Engineer II. Austin's background includes an engineering internship at ATW Companies, focusing on optimizing production cycles, and a design intern role at TPI Composites, where responsibilities included designing fixtures and conducting design analyses. Leadership capabilities were demonstrated as Oozeball Director for the Student Alumni Association, organizing a large community event to support local charities, and as Risk Manager for the PHI Gamma Delta Kappa RHO fraternity, where safety policies were successfully rebuilt. Austin holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Rhode Island, complemented by a minor in Leadership Studies.
