SBIRS Ground Chief Architect

Austin Hill is currently the Ground Chief Engineer and Chief Architect for the Space Based Infrared Systems (SBIRS) at Lockheed Martin, overseeing a project valued at over $250M annually with approximately 300 full-time employees. Previously, Austin held various engineering roles at Lockheed Martin, including Deputy Chief Engineer for SBIRS S2E2 and Senior Hardware Engineer, focusing on the design and installation of critical systems. Austin earned a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from Brigham Young University and a Master’s degree in Management Science & Engineering, Finance & Economics from Stanford University.
