Austin Lillard

Austin Lillard is a Lunar Exploration Systems Architect at Lockheed Martin, specializing in human spaceflight and system architecture. They refine multi-element systems architectures for Lunar Exploration, encompassing areas such as landers, mobility vehicles, and human habitation. Previously, Austin was the Artemis II mission lead, responsible for developing the CONOPS for the first crewed Orion flight. Their experience includes roles in avionics, power systems, and serving as the Surface Operations Phase Lead for the National Team Human Lander System proposal. Austin earned both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder.
