Austin Smith is the Chief Employment Litigation Counsel at Lockheed Martin since 2025, bringing extensive experience as a litigator and employment law advisor. Previously, Austin held various legal positions, including Shareholder at Ogletree Deakins from 2013 to 2019 and Associate General Counsel at Lockheed Martin Space Systems in 2020. Austin began their legal career as a Federal Judicial Law Clerk for the Honorable L. Scott Coogler in the U.S. District Court from 2005 to 2007. They are licensed to practice law in Alabama, California, and Colorado, alongside multiple federal courts across the country, and are currently pursuing dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Philosophy and Philosophy of Religion at the University of Colorado Boulder.
