Christopher Coppess

Christopher Coppess is a Systems Engineer Senior at Lockheed Martin, where they have been involved in advanced defense systems, including the Long Range Strike Systems and the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) project. Prior to this role, Christopher worked as a Systems Engineer, developing and verifying requirements and engaging with stakeholders on system performance. They began their professional journey as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Iowa State University, where they contributed to the development of new Chemical Mechanical Polishing processes and prepared research for publication. Christopher holds a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from Iowa State University.
