Craig Martell

Craig Martell is the Chief Technology Officer at Lockheed Martin, a position they have held since 2025. Previously, they served as an Adjunct Professor at Northeastern University, teaching Machine Learning from 2018 to 2022, and as the Head of Machine Learning at Lyft during the same period. They were also a Professor of Computer Science at the Naval Postgraduate School from 2003 to 2015, where they directed the Natural Language Processing Lab. Craig's extensive experience includes leadership roles at LinkedIn and Dropbox, as well as advisory positions with Pivotus Ventures and Schmidt Futures. They are currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Computer Science at the University of Pennsylvania.
