Dave Gingerich

Dave Gingerich is a Senior Staff Engineer at Lockheed Martin Space Systems Company, where they have spent 40 years immersed in space exploration mission development and deep-space satellite operations. They began their career with contributions to the Mars Observer and ESA’s Huygens Probe, eventually leading flight software teams for multiple high-profile deep space missions, including the Hubble Space Telescope and Mars orbiters. Currently, Dave is also an adjunct professor at Metropolitan State University of Denver, teaching courses in the Space Commercialization Certificate program, and has shared their insights as a TEDx Speaker. Additionally, they served as a volunteer member on the Aerospace Advanced Industries subcommittee for the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade from 2014 to 2018.
