David Bein

David Bein is a highly skilled mechanical engineer with extensive experience in spacecraft harness design and integration, currently serving as a Staff Mechanical Engineer at Lockheed Martin since June 2015. In this role, David Bein oversees all aspects of mechanical harness design, from conception to final routing and release, ensuring effective interconnection of spacecraft sub-systems. David Bein has also held leadership positions as an Associate Manager, guiding a team of engineers in various satellite programs. Prior to this, David Bein gained valuable experience as a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Lockheed Martin and an Undergraduate Research Assistant at The University of Iowa, contributing to advanced 3D modeling for predictive human dynamics. David Bein's foundational technical expertise was developed during five years of service as a Work Center Supervisor in the United States Marine Corps, focusing on electrical systems for multiple aircraft types.
