David Knapp

David Knapp is a Staff Research Scientist at Lockheed Martin, where they manage and operate the Space Plasma and Radiation Center. With extensive experience across the satellite systems design lifecycle, David has served in various roles, including Senior Research Scientist and Propulsion Engineer, contributing significantly to electric propulsion systems. David has also worked as a Teaching Associate at Cal Poly State University and completed internships at Orbital Sciences Corporation. They hold both a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical Engineering from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
