Elaura Gustafson

Elaura Gustafson is an Artificial Intelligence Engineer at Lockheed Martin, beginning in October 2022, focused on improving data analysis processes and managing AI/ML projects. Previously, Elaura worked at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory as a Spacecraft Bus Lead for a summer program, where a mock mission to explore Venus was designed, involving mission architecture and scientific instrument selection. Elaura also held research and managerial positions at Brigham Young University, including an undergraduate student research assistant role in the Dearden Lab and responsibilities as a student manager for the Inorganic Chemistry Stockroom, where safety procedures significantly reduced chemical accidents. Academic credentials include a PhD in Analytical Chemistry and a BS in Chemistry, both obtained from Brigham Young University. Prior volunteer experience includes service as a representative for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, focusing on community engagement and support in Alabama.
