Geoffrey E. Gates

Geoffrey E. Gates is a seasoned executive in Cyber Security, currently serving as the CIS Security Engineering and Architecture Senior Leader at Lockheed Martin since 1996. With a proven track record, Geoffrey has held various leadership roles, including Corporate Information Security Engineering Manager and Cyber Security Architecture Manager, where responsibilities encompassed the development of cyber security reference architectures and risk management strategies. Prior to this, expertise was demonstrated in systems engineering and network architecture for critical mission systems of the US Navy. Additionally, Geoffrey contributed to academia as an Adjunct Professor at Rowan University, teaching courses in computer networking and architecture. Educational qualifications include an MBA in Business/Cyber Security from James Madison University, multiple degrees in Computer and Electrical Engineering, and a BS in Electrical Engineering from Widener University.
