Gilbert Hernandez

Gilbert Hernandez is an accomplished systems engineer with extensive experience in aerospace and engineering. Currently serving as a Staff Systems Engineer at Lockheed Martin since July 2022 and a graduate of the Executive Development & Growth Enhancement Program slated for 2024, Gilbert has previously held key positions at Northrop Grumman, contributing significantly in roles such as Sr. Principal Systems Engineer and Principal Systems Test Engineer, where collaboration with JPL and NASA was essential for mission success. Past experience includes engineering roles at the USC Liquid Propulsion Laboratory, VACCO Industries, and Hawker Pacific Aerospace, where responsibilities ranged from product engineering to systems integration for aerospace projects. Gilbert holds a Master’s degree in Astronautical Engineering from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from UC Irvine, complemented by a Project Management Certificate from Caltech.
