Hung Ly

Hung Ly is a Material Engineer Staff at Lockheed Martin, where they lead and manage failure analyses on various parts, components, assemblies, and materials since 2019. Prior to their current role, they served as a Senior Scientist and Failure Analyst at SSL, specializing in failure analyses related to composite materials and metals from 2014 to 2019. Before that, Hung was a Senior Engineer at TenCate Advanced Composites, where they coordinated R&D projects and developed new aerospace materials from 2005 to 2013, and they also worked as a Research Engineer at ALZA Corporation, focusing on drug delivery systems from 2004 to 2005. Hung earned a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of California, Davis, and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.
