Jacob Dray

Jacob Dray is a graduate of the University of Illinois with a Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace Engineering and a minor in material science, having completed their studies in 2016. Currently, they serve as a Senior Materials Engineer at Lockheed Martin, where they focus on failure analysis and materials characterization for aerospace systems. Previously, Jacob worked as a Product Metallurgist at Carpenter Technology Corporation, where they contributed to the development of valve and tool steels and created an onboarding handbook for new hires. Jacob's early career also includes several internships at GE Aviation and Ford Motor Company, where they gained extensive experience in supply chain processes, thermal management, and metallurgical analysis. Outside of their professional life, Jacob enjoys playing the saxophone, drawing, wakeboarding, and outdoor activities like camping and hiking.
