Jake Elkins

Jake Elkins is a Sr Autonomy/AI/ML Engineer at Lockheed Martin, focused on becoming a field leader in autonomy, advanced AI, and robotics for aerospace and defense. They hold a PhD in mechanical engineering from the University of Alabama in Huntsville, as well as an MS in aerospace engineering, an MBA, and a BS in physics and mathematics, all from the University of Alabama. Previously, Jake worked as a Graduate Researcher at both the University of Alabama and the University of Alabama in Huntsville, where they conducted research in machine learning and intelligent systems. They also gained experience as a Machine Learning Engineer at the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division and as a Data Science Intern.
