James Prosser

James Prosser is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the field of program management and engineering, particularly within the naval and power generation sectors. At Lockheed Martin since October 2004, James has excelled as a Senior Program Manager, leading efforts in the LCS1 FREEDOM Class ship design, including managing engineering and design development for ship alterations. Previous roles at Lockheed Martin include serving as the LCS Sustainment PM and Engineering Lead for Ships Systems Automation, where James contributed significantly to the design and implementation of advanced machinery control systems. Prior to that, James was the Principal at Prosser Engineering Associates and held various engineering positions at Rev 1 Power Services and Bechtel Power Corporation, building a robust foundation in control systems. James began a career in the U.S. Navy, ultimately serving as Main Propulsion Assistant on the USS JOHN F. KENNEDY. James holds a Master’s degree in Operations Analysis from the Naval Postgraduate School and a Bachelor’s degree in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from the United States Naval Academy.
