John Guthrie

John Guthrie is a Staff Quantum Optical Research Scientist at Lockheed Martin, where they focus on the research and development of advanced physical, chemical, and optical systems. Previously, Guthrie worked as an AMO Physicist at ColdQuanta, specializing in atom interferometry and quantum memory projects. They earned a PhD in Physics from Colorado State University, where they contributed to ultracold plasma research under Prof. Jacob Roberts. Guthrie's academic background also includes a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Physics from Colorado State University and Old Dominion University, respectively.
