John Moretta

John Moretta has extensive experience in sensor engineering, primarily in missile and fire control systems, and has been with Lockheed Martin since 1999. As an LM Fellow, John focuses on RF and IR seeker engineering and laser radar sensors. John's leadership roles include serving as a Sensor Hardware Engineering Senior Manager, overseeing a team of 100 engineers, and previously managing groups of electro-optical and RF engineers. Prior to Lockheed Martin, John held positions at Raytheon TI Systems and Texas Instruments DSEG, specializing in EO/IR and radar engineering. Educationally, John has advanced studies in electrical engineering, holding both a Master of Science and coursework completed towards a Ph.D. from the University of Texas, as well as a Bachelor of Science from Christian Brothers University.
