Katelyn Sowards, PhD, is an accomplished engineer currently working at Lockheed Martin, where Katelyn has held multiple roles, including Senior Mechanical Engineer and Systems Engineer Staff. Katelyn previously graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Liberty University, followed by a Master's in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Central Florida. Katelyn also contributed to curriculum development for high school engineering at Liberty University Online Programs and gained early experience as a CAD Drafter at Desapro, Inc. Her extensive background includes various positions at Liberty University, culminating in leading the 3D Printing Laboratory. Katelyn is currently pursuing a PhD in Engineering at Liberty University.
