Michael Colangelo

Michael Colangelo is currently a Lead Flight Test Engineer at Lockheed Martin, where they have worked since 2013 on the F-35 Lightning II fighter aircraft program, focusing on mission systems flight and ground tests. Prior to Lockheed Martin, they were a Flight Test Engineer at The Boeing Company from 2004 to 2013, overseeing testing for various aircraft including the 787-8 and the C-17A. Michael also served as a UH-60 Blackhawk Helicopter Repairer in the Army National Guard and U.S. Army Reserve from 2002 to 2011, with deployment experience in Iraq. They hold a Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering from The University of Kansas and a Bachelor’s degree from Iowa State University, in addition to a Certificate in Enterprise Security from DeAnza College.
