Mike Barnes, MSM, is a seasoned facilities manager currently leading operations at Lockheed Martin's Center for Innovation - The Lighthouse since April 2025. Prior to this role, Mike served as Director of Engineering at Arctic Glacier Premium Ice for a brief period in late 2024. Mike's extensive experience includes a tenure at Massimo Zanetti Beverage USA, where responsibilities progressed from Senior Director of Corporate Engineering to various director-level positions overseeing engineering, safety, and maintenance from December 2005 to November 2024. Previous roles as Maintenance Manager at both Sara Lee Coffee & Tea and Anheuser-Busch, as well as an Engineering Supervisor at Newport News Shipbuilding, complement a foundational experience as a Staff Sergeant in the US Army from 1985 to 1989. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Management from the Florida Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science degree from Christopher Newport University.
