Mike Smith

Michael (Mike) Smith is an experienced professional in the aerospace and defense industry, currently serving as the Mod Planning & Scheduling Manager for F-35 Sustainment at Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Company since 2017. With a career spanning several leadership roles, Michael has contributed to various aspects of aircraft maintenance and modification, including positions as Readiness Integration Lead and Technical Lead. Prior experience includes serving as Senior Manager of F-35 Sustainment at BAE Systems, where responsibilities encompassed aircraft maintenance and modification engineering. Michael's earlier roles include management positions at Advanced Technology Services and Target, as well as serving as an Avionics Officer and Aircraft Maintenance Officer in the United States Marine Corps. Michael holds a Master of Science in Management of Technology from Southern Polytechnic State University and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from National University.
