Paul Nelson

Paul "Swede" Nelson is currently an F-35 Instructor Pilot/SME at Lockheed Martin, where they have been employed since 2015. Before this role, Nelson served in the United States Air Force from 2001 to 2008, holding various positions such as HQ AFMC F-15 Instructor/Evaluator Pilot and F-15S Instructor Pilot, managing extensive aircrew training and operations. Their previous experience includes positions at Jacobs Technology, Advanced Electronics Company, and BGI, where they focused on training and technical support for military aircraft operations. Nelson holds a Master’s degree in Aviation/Aerospace Management from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education from Minnesota State Moorhead, along with ongoing training as a Flight Safety Officer at the Air Force Safety Center.
