Paul Popescu

Paul Popescu is a Sr. FPGA Design Engineer (Contractor) at Lockheed Martin, specializing in the implementation of DSP algorithms. They possess extensive experience in telecommunications and hardware design, having contributed to the full design cycle from algorithm creation to FPGA implementation. With a strong background in mentoring and team management, Paul has held key engineering roles at various companies, including France Telecom R&D and Giga-tronics, while engaging in innovative projects such as developing 3G IP blocks and designing a TTY modem for emergency systems. Paul earned a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Universitatea „Politehnica” din București and a Master of Engineering in Telecommunications from McGill University.
