Paul Schweiger

Paul Schweiger is a Senior Staff Optical Engineer at Lockheed Martin Space Systems Company, bringing over 20 years of experience in management, optical and mechanical design, manufacturing, and testing. They have developed optical and mechanical systems utilizing both commercial and custom optics and possess hands-on expertise in optical and mechanical parts fabrication. Prior to their current role, Paul served as Optical Research and Development Manager at Davidson Optronics Inc and held a position as Senior Optical/Mechanical Engineer at Avanex. Paul earned a Master’s degree in Optics from the University of Arizona, a Bachelor’s degree in Physics from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona, and a Bachelor’s degree in Science from Pennsylvania State University.
