Peter Barnes

Peter Barnes has extensive experience in military training and assessment, particularly within sonar and anti-submarine warfare operations. Serving as a Facilitator at Lockheed Martin since May 2017, Peter previously held the position of Chief Sonar Sea Training Atlantic in the Royal Canadian Navy from August 1984 to May 2020, where responsibilities included training ships' anti-submarine warfare teams and conducting assessments on damage control and force protection. Additional roles include Chief Analyst at the Training Development Center and Regulating Chief Petty Officer at Trinity Halifax, where Peter managed training plans and unit administrative duties. With an Occupational Health and Safety Certificate from the University of New Brunswick and a background in Physical Education, Peter's diverse expertise supports operational readiness in military contexts.
