Peter Yip

Peter Yip is a Senior Research Engineer at Lockheed Martin Advanced Technology Laboratories, where they have been contributing since 2022. Prior to this role, Peter served as a Research Engineer from 2020 to 2022 and has amassed over seven years of applied research and development experience. Peter is currently a PhD researcher at the University of Minnesota, focusing on Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical Engineering, and previously worked in the Multiscale Mechanics of Materials Laboratory and the Computational Hypersonics Research Center. Peter holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Central Florida.
