Ray Townsend

Ray Townsend is an aerospace and defense leader currently serving as the Head of Strategy and Growth at Lockheed Martin Canada, where they oversee governance aspects of programs and strategic growth objectives. Previously, Ray held the position of Director of Air Readiness for the Royal Canadian Air Force, achieving the rank of Colonel, as well as serving as the Commanding Officer of 404 Long Range Patrol and Training Squadron. Ray's military experience includes multiple operational deployments and extensive responsibilities in mission planning and aircrew development. Educated at the Royal Military College of Canada, Ray earned advanced degrees in Defence Studies and Security and Defence Management and Policy, along with a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Business Administration.
